Monte Motorsport Sprintcar pilot Ryan Farrell will again contest the Silver cup at the Perth Motorplex grand final on Saturday night with only one thing on his mind, a victory. After falling short at the recent Gold Cup event at the Perth Motorplex where Ryan Farrell'’s top wing dropped down on him, limiting his vision to not much & at speeds that these things get up to vision is a major tool for any sprintcar driver. He managed to keep the power down while leading but it all counted for nothing when a few laps from home the wing flew off, upsetting the balance of the car and forcing Farrell over in the first turns. This week the Monte Motorsport team will have its best #95 out on the track to finish the Perth Motorplex season on a high while also preparing for the up coming Australian Sprintcar Title to be run at Darwins Northline Speedway in May 2010. 2009/2010 has been a major stepping stone for Farrell establishing himself as a serious contender at any major event he turns up to, recently competing in NZ & also at Warnambool's premier speedway where he completely dominated the final night of the easter trail.
